Health Guarantee

All our adult dogs are genetically tested before they are bred and have been tested for all four basset hound hereditary diseases which are: Primary Open Angle Glaucoma (Basset Hound Type), Severe Combined Immunodeficiency Disease, X-Linked (Basset Hound Type),and Thrombopathia (Basset Hound Type) and Lafora Disease. We offer a one year health guarantee for all genetic tested issues.We guarantee puppies to not be affected by these genetic disorders that are mentioned above. You may request any of our dogs tests, they are also linked on our website.

Every puppy will be checked by our vet before they leave and come with a thorough health report from the vet and official health certificate. They also will have 30 days of free insurance that we provide at no additional cost to the buyers through Trupanion. If that insurance or other insurance of your choice is not activated within 24 hours of receiving your puppy our health guarantee is voided.

Every effort has been made by the breeder to assure that the puppy is healthy when it is delivered to the buyer. Circle H Bassets will not accept any responsibility for reactions to vaccines/medications, flea and tick preparations, or disorders caused by environmental factors, allergies, thyroid, autoimmune diseases, or parasitic issues that arise.

Circle H Bassets guarantees the puppy against fatal viruses for 72 hours after they leave us. These include distemper and parvo. The buyer must agree to not place puppy in any public areas and grounds including but not limited to, dog parks, pet stores, on the floor at the vets or any other place other dogs have been until all puppy shots have been complete. This is for your puppy's safety against deadly germs. Circle H shall not be held responsible for the development of non -genetically tested derived diseases or disorders.

We do not offer refunds, or partial refunds for any reason all payments and deposits are final. Puppies may not be surrendered to a shelter or rescue, we will welcome all puppies/dogs back. All puppies are microchipped with a prepaid chip, that we stay on as a secondary contact. This is to insure they are returned to the owners and also protect them from being taken to a shelter.

Our puppies are guaranteed to be pet quality not breeding or showing quality- no one can guarantee that in an 8 week old puppy. Slight defects that are not life threatening and therefore not covered are hernias, undescended testicle(s), under and over bites, or any other minor non-life threatening issues. All these issues will of course be disclosed if they arise before they leave.

This guarantee does NOT cover giardia, coccidia and kennel cough which are caused by bacteria and can be brought on by stress of moving to a new home and is not life-threatening. It also does not cover common breed issues such as skin allergies, ear infections, bloat, Panosteitis, entropion, or cherry eye.We guarantee only what we can test for genetically as stated above.

All puppies leave with an extensive vet check and vet records and are healthy.
