ABOUT CIRCLE H BASSET HOUNDS
Welcome to Circle H! My name is Stevy Hill and I'm so glad you are interested in our basset hounds! My husband Brett & I, along with our three kids: Jaxon, Cade. & Sophie strive to raise the best puppies around. We live on a cattle ranch nestled in the country, filled with Beefmaster cattle, our basset hounds, and porch cats (they are too lazy to be barn cats) as well as one very sweet old chocolate lab. We have been breeding since 2017 but I was born and raised with bassets. . I have raised my kids with them and have loved sharing the joy they have brought all of us with all our wonderful Circle H families.
Our dogs are born and raised in a warm, loving, cozy environment. They become accustomed to the noises of a busy home, are well socialized, and spoiled. Breeding healthy happy puppies is our number one goal, all our dogs are genetic tested before breeding, we offer a health guarantee on our puppies as well. We prefer to place our puppies with pet families, that being said we do occasionally give breeding rights, as long as you are willing to be open about your kennel and policies. Not all puppies are avaiable for breeding rights, you will need to contact us to discuss it.

Our adoption process is pretty simple, all you need to do is fill our puppy application and make the $500 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot. All deposits are non refundable, and go towards the total of our puppy, it is not an additional fee. Please make sure you are ready for a puppy before placing the deposit should you change your mind the deposit is forfeited .
Puppy picks are made when the puppies are four weeks old, please have your picks ready when you are messaged. Should there not be a puppy you like when it's your turn you may pass to another litter. Your deposit is good for one year from the day you place it and transferable one time to a different litter. Should you pick a puppy and then change your mind, your deposit is forfeited.
I will send a text announcing the litters birth along with a group shot of the puppies within the first week of birth. At two weeks of age you will start receiving individual puppy pictures once a week, at four weeks picks will be made. You will continue to get weekly photos of your puppy as they grow.
Puppies on our website are ready to be claimed and are not part of a waiting list.

Deposits can be paid through Venmo, Cash App, credit or debit card. . The remaining balance is due in cash (prefered) at pickup/ delivery, or with a credit or debit card one week prior to pickup, all card payments for final payments are subject to an additional 4% fee. Venmo and cash app will not be accepted for final payment for any reason, there will be NO electronic payments accepted at pickup. Please read the previous sentence again, every litter I have at least one person show up wanting to venmo me and I will not accept it. It's a long drive to an ATM from my house, puppies will not leave without a cleared payment or cash.

Picks will be made via picture, video, or facetime, whichever you prefer. For the safety of our puppies and adult dogs we do not allow in person picking or visits.​ Germs and unvaccinated puppies just don't mix! Our dogs health comes first always, if you have an issue with this or any other policy then I am not the breeder for you and I wish you all the best as you continue with your search. My policies are strictly to keep my puppies safe and healthy. My dogs and puppies health come before anything else!

All our puppies are dewormed every two weeks from two weeks of age, they are vet checked, and have age appropriate vaccinations. They also have a microchip, and come with their AKC registration paperwork, 30 days free insurance with Trupanion, a scented small blanket with littermates and mom's scent, toys and more!

Please make arrangements to pick up your new puppy as soon as possible to ensure you get the date and time you would like. Puppies will need to be picked up once they reach 9 weeks old, our pick up date is always listed. The actual day listed is the first day they are allowed to leave or are able to fly, should the day be during the week the weekend after pick up day is just fine as well up to a week past that listed date. I do try my best to work with everyone's schedule but I ask that you also be respectful of my time and schedule as well. Anything past a week of the pick up day will need to be discussed.

We have several options for getting your puppy to you. We are happy to meet you along your route the most common is I40 around the town of Shawnee, OK, or we can meet you in another area depeding on your route. we live in the middle of no where and want to help you not have quite so far of a drive.
. We offer to meet buyers that are flying in at both Oklahoma City & Tulsa airports for no charge. We do not ship puppies cargo under any circumstance. Flight nannies can be arranged as well by families but it's often easier to fly in yourself.

We offer delivery once per litter to the Dallas area for no cost. We can also meet buyers in Oklahoma City, or Tulsa area ocassionaly. Other locations can be discussed as well. All deliveries will be done at our convenience and as time allows, we are not always able to leave our dogs and cattle, please be mindful of this. All deliveries will be made by Circle H, not a delivery company. We can only meet or deliver a puppy within 3 hours of our home. Please contact us for more details!. You may call, text, or email us! All puppies born at Circle H are a family member for life, if your circumstances should change they are always welcome back here at any age no questions asked, no refunds will be given. We do ask that should you no longer be able to care for your basset that you contact us first and do not take your puppy to a shelter.
